As an adult, we don’t often have times when we feel giddy or excited about something. Today is the day for me to feel excited and giddy, I’m touring local gardens. I got up early to get my chores done, do a little art, and write this blog post because I promised myself I would write daily on the blog.
More to come later after I see everyone’s gardens.
This is one of my favorite times of the year when I get to share my garden and see other local gardens in my area. Although this year we’re not on the tour you can take a virtual tour of our garden on YouTube.
I’m planning my garden map for tomorrow and there are a few new gardens on the tour which are very exciting! And I’ll be reporting back with pictures and commentary when I finish. This year I’m adding a new tour called the Ivywild Garden Art Toure, it’s the inaugural tour so excited to be attending. I’ll be sure to share my experiences in these gardens too.
I’m also to a point where I’m going to start documenting these and doing video tours with locals who aren’t interested in having large numbers of people in their gardens.
