Ten years ago we began our high-altitude gardening journey in the mountains of CO. Over the past few years we started planting more with permaculture in mind.

Our permaculture food forest has 5 plum trees, 2 espaliered apple trees with 3 grafts on each tree, mulberry tree, elderberry, currants, gooseberries, jostaberries, strawberries, asparagus, rhubarb, and grapes.

I also changed up my spring planting routine by direct sowing most veggies in 2022, everything is popping but I’m getting a bit anxious about nothing coming up.

Get a list of plants we have in the food forest as of 2022.
