Seasonal, Local, & Limited

Our virtual farmstand offers plants and starts by presale and seasonal availability. Quantities are limited and intended for local pickup or delivery in the Pikes Peak region. If something is sold out, it may return later in the season.

FAQ

How does the Virtual Farmstand work?

Our Virtual Farmstand allows local customers to place orders online for seasonal plants and products. Items are offered by presale or limited availability, then picked up locally once they’re ready.

Are these plants grown on your homestead?

Some plants are grown here, while others — including bare-root strawberry plants — are sourced from trusted specialty nurseries and selected intentionally for our climate. All items are offered as part of our local micro-farm model.

What does “presale” mean?

Presale means you’re reserving plants before pickup is available. This helps us plan quantities responsibly and avoid waste. Once plants are ready, you’ll receive an email with pickup details.

When do I pay for my order?

All orders are paid in full at the time of purchase. Many of our items are offered by presale and sourced or prepared specifically based on orders received. Paying at checkout allows us to plan responsibly and keep the farmstand sustainable.

When will I receive my order?

Pickup timing depends on the product and the season.
For bare-root strawberry plants, pickup is scheduled for April. You’ll receive an email when your order is ready with exact timing and location details.

What pickup options are available?

At checkout, you can choose from:

  • Farm pickup (Woodland Park area)
  • Friday pickup at the Woodland Park Farmers Market (when available)
  • Local delivery (if offered)

Pickup options vary by product and season.

Is shipping available?

No. At this time, all orders are local pickup or local delivery only. We are intentionally keeping our farmstand local and sustainable.

Is there a cutoff for Farmers Market pickup?

Yes. Orders for Friday Farmers Market pickup must be placed by Wednesday evening of that week. Orders placed after the cutoff will be scheduled for the following pickup window.

What if a product sells out?

Because we operate on a small scale, quantities are limited. If a product is sold out, it may return later in the season — but availability is never guaranteed. Joining our email list is the best way to stay informed.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Presale items are planned carefully, so all sales are final once plants have been sourced. If you have an issue or concern, please reach out as soon as possible and we’ll do our best to help.

Do you guarantee plant success?

Because plants are living products and quantities are limited, all presale purchases are final.

We provide healthy plants and clear pickup timing, but plant success depends on weather, planting conditions, and care after pickup. We’re always happy to share growing tips and guidance.

How will I know when my order is ready?

You’ll receive an email notification with pickup instructions once your items are ready. Please make sure to use an email address you check regularly at checkout.

Why keep everything local?

Keeping sales local allows us to:

  • reduce waste
  • avoid shipping stress on plants
  • support community-based food systems
  • grow responsibly within our climate
What does presale mean for payment and pickup?

Presale items are reserved in advance and must be paid for when ordered. Pickup or delivery is scheduled once items are ready, and you’ll receive an email with details.

Are presale orders refundable?

Because plants are living products and quantities are planned carefully, presale purchases are final once plants have been sourced. If there’s an issue with your order, please reach out as soon as possible and we’ll do our best to help.

Do I pay again at pickup or delivery?

No. All orders are prepaid online. There is no payment due at pickup, delivery, or market pickup.

What about Farmers Market pickup?

Orders scheduled for Friday pickup at the Woodland Park Farmers Market are prepaid online. Please place market pickup orders by Wednesday evening so we can prepare them for market day.
